Second Win In a Row for Forester |

Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) Forester has been awarded Compact SUV People's
Choice by the Carsales Network websites, making it the second win in a row this year for
the brand's favourite Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).

The award was determined by genuine new car purchase enquires placed via the Carsales
Network of websites in Australia. Votes were tallied over a 12-month period, with each
genuine enquiry on a new car via one of the Carsales websites equivalent to one vote.
The third-generation Forester commanded the competition in the SUV category, with a
landslide vote sealing its title.

The five Carsales websites list close to 17,000 vehicles on its network and provides
Australian consumers with extensive information on both new and used vehicles.

"While Singapore's urban terrain is significantly different from Australia's, the Forester
remains a popular choice among drivers looking for a compact SUV that is not only safe and
practical, but also delivers a smooth drive," said Ms. Hannah Tan, Regional Marketing Manager
for Motor Image Group. "The Legacy and Outback have both been sweeping numerous awards in
recent months so it's good to see the Forester refusing to be left out of the spotlight."

In the recent Australia's Best Cars 2009 Awards, the Legacy 3.6R Premium was named Best
Prestige Car, while the Outback 2.5i won the Best Recreational 4-Wheel Drive award. The
Outback was also named Best SUV Under $40,000 in Fairfax's Drive Car of the Year 2009 awards.
